CAREelec SDN BHD was founded by Walter Hoegger and set up business operation in Penang early 1995. Later the company expanded its core business into other countries in South East Asia and as well into India. CAREelec specialized in protection devices such as circuit breakers, fuses, fuse holders, power entry modules, filters, connectors as well as input devices like switches indicator, peripheral components and sensor products.
CAREelec continuously develops and market new products and advanced technologies suitable for its customer all over Asia.
During the past 10 years CAREelec has constantly improved its products range sourced mainly from EUROPE under consideration of today’s latest technology and compatibility with Asian market demands and requirements.
CAREelec has exclusive agency/distributor contract for South East Asia with most of its major Suppliers:
- Eaton/Heinemann - well-known hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker and switch manufacturer
- Cutler-Hammer - manufacturing of thermal breakers, which comprises miniature circuit breakers as well as molded case circuit breakers
- Bulgin Components PLC - renowned battery holders; IP 68 sealed Bucaneer connectors, IEC connectors, Polysnap connectors, IEC cord sets, main filters, fuseholders, indicators, switches and general purpose connectors.
- SNT Sensortechnik AG - Well Established Swiss specialist in Ultrasonic and Optical Sensors for process automation.
